Chiyoda
Squares
Souvenir Photos

Taken at the
St. Thomas More Catholic Church Hall, San Francisco,
on June 23, 2001 where the San Francisco Forty-Niners
Square Dance Club hosted a special
hoedown for these visiting square dancers
from Tokyo Japan.
The group was headed by their club president
and caller, Shozo Nishimura and his lovely wife Miko.

Bob Elling, in
a colorful Japanese kimono with Lulu. The snazzy
outfit was a gift from Chiyoda Square Dance
Caller, Shozo. In return, Bob totally delighted the Japanese
square dancers with his surprise singing call
done in Japanese language. Shozo was especially
thrilled he joined Bob on the stage and did a
duet with him! I'm sure they will talk about that
special night for a long time! Shozo was on cloud nine!

Dick and Lulu

and Miko Nishimura, Shozo's wife. She is the
one next to Lulu. They loved Dick's finger food specialty,
all-American bite-size peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!
