You're looking at the "heart and soul" 
and founding couple of the Manila Hoedowners Club:
 Peter and Mercy Lee. 
 Without their whole-hearted support 
this remaining (and one and only) square dance club
 in the entire country would not survive.  
Our salute to you both.
  
Sadly for us, the angels decided to take Peter
to heaven in 2005.  But he promised Mercy
that he will always watch over her
and all members of his beloved Manila Hoedowners Club.

elegant residence in Forbes Park, Makati.  
Shown are all family members.  The young ones are active square dancers! 
 Mercy Lee makes sure they learn the steps the minute they start walking!
   
Way to go, Mercy!  
Hope to see them dance at one of the worldwide conventions in the US soon!

Someday, if you happen to travel to that part of the world 
and would like to check out the one and only 
square dance club in that country, 
please write Mercy Lee a few weeks before your visit.

should be listed in the worldwide square dance directory.   
We also guarantee you'll have a good time 
dancing with this club's very friendly and hospitable members.  
And oh, the building is very well air conditioned.  

            In May 2000, we visited and danced with this 
friendly and very hospitable club.  
They hosted a special Mini-hoedown to welcome us.  
What an affair to remember!  
Their hospitality is difficult to match!
